I know it's been a really long time since I've blogged, but I'm glad that I've saved it for this. I have decided to start a new venture in my life and it all begins with the scale. That's right, I've decided to start a new, healthier life for myself. I joined a Biggest Loser Challenge at a gym by my house. Now, normally, I would not be all excited to inform you that I'm big enough to be a part of a challenge like that, but I'm truly turning a new leaf this year. I want to be beautiful and skinny. I want people to know that I actually do care about my body and want them to know I DO understand I have a weight problem and want to do something about it.
It is a nine month program which intells of mandatory ( I love that word!) work out sessions three days a week, a meal plan, and weigh ins with measurements once a month. I know I can do this!! I've been doing it for almost two weeks now and feel great! Nothing looks different, but I feel like a milllion bucks with not having all the junk in my body.
I have set personal goals for myself throughout this journey as well. I wouldn't usually share those either but I figure if it's on paper, it's gonna happen! I want to lose 100lbs and be done to 20% body fat. Now, from day one weigh in, that's a LONG way to go before I reach that goal but I think I can do it! I have decided to try and cut out alcohol for the entire process. All it is is pure sugar anyways. You know they always say "Tasting good isn't half as great as looking good!"
I'll will keep posting my updates and hopefully start putting pictures up as well of my progress! This is gonna be a great year for me!
